Ancestors, through the image of the domovoi in Slavic mythology, seek to convey to us the idea of the home as a living organism, of the connection of generations, and of how order in everyday life inevitably brings order in fate. The domovoi is the mythological master and guardian of the home, from whose disposition our well-being depends. The family of domovoi is large, and each member performs their own duty. They strive to help us in every way, to advise us, and thus protect us from unwelcome guests, from evil words, from quarrels and scandals, as well as to teach that your home is your fortress, which should be cherished and guarded like the apple of your eye.
