In total, J. Harris wrote about two hundred tales told from the perspective of Uncle Remus, about Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and their friends. The kind tales, filled with humor and worldly wisdom, have been translated into many languages.
The book includes all "Uncle Remus' Tales" in the classic translation by M. Gershenzon, which was first published in Russian in 1936.
