On the Peak of Horror stands an ancient castle. It is called the Murashik Castle, and in it lives… the Murashik family! All its members were born exactly at midnight, and when they turn ten, they transform into terrifying monsters… This year it was Myrtilla's turn, who couldn’t wait to find out what horrible creature she would become. A werewolf like her brother Otis? Or a mummy like her cousin Scarab? Or a witch like her grandmother Cikuta?

But during the transformation ceremony, something went wrong, because in the end, Myrtilla… didn’t transform into any monster! And what could be worse in a family of monsters than to remain the only human being?

Myrtilla suspected that someone had put a curse on her! But who could have done it? And why? The girl begins to search for the one who spoiled her transformation within the walls of the Murashik Castle.
