Engaging Word Games. Grades 1-4

This book contains engaging tasks in Russian language that will help elementary school students consolidate the knowledge they have gained and better understand what they have learned.

In the tasks, students will need to form words from scrambled letters; correctly connect syllables or parts of words; using a cipher, read encrypted words or proverbs; "repair" proverbs with missing vowels; create new words from the letters of a given word; solve crosswords, word searches, rebuses, and much more.

By completing the tasks, children learn to compare, classify by criteria, analyze information, and draw conclusions, which contributes to the development of logical thinking. Such tasks will also help develop attention, memory, orthographic acuity, and children's creative abilities.

The answers to all the tasks are provided at the end of the book.

This guide can be used as additional material in Russian language lessons and extracurricular activities.
