Music Inside

Nikolai Smirnov lives alone in a village house. He is ill, but refuses to move to the city with his son. Moreover, he gets a Dog. No, not a musical instrument, but a hunting breed puppy that howls as if it sings. Now they live together, walk, and spend evenings. Soon the old man dies, and his grandson Nikita takes the grown dog with him. But the Dog escapes at the first opportunity because it is not used to city life. Or is there another reason for the escape?
