Mom

We hear her gentle voice long before we come into the world. In her eyes, we see our reflection for the first time. She teaches us to make sandcastles, play with green leopards, and draw hearts with sunscreen. She accepts us in all our varieties – with pants on our heads, with pierced ears and bad haircuts, forgiving all our stubbornness in advance. And she always waits for our call to tell us how much she loves us. Mom, mommy, mother – this is a story about you and for you.
