Big Changes

Any serious changes are stressful, even if they involve positive transformations. How can we help a child gently adapt to the new status of no longer being a preschooler, but now a school student? Olga Koroleva, a practicing psychologist, created a story about a girl named Gertrude, who, like many children, feels joy and anxiety on the eve of September 1st, makes new friends at school, builds relationships with teachers, gets upset about grades, experiences her first crush, and learns to be honest and brave.

Through familiarizing with artistic stories, one can discuss complex topics with a child and find answers to difficult questions.
