Sumerians. Inventors of Writing and the State

This civilization was discovered by scholars only about one hundred fifty years ago. Since then, it is precisely known who invented the familiar items: the wheeled cart, the sailboat, the potter's wheel, writing symbols, and the very first state in the world. These were the ancient Sumerians who lived in Mesopotamia.
