The Beginning of Knowledge

Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895 - 1986) is one of the most well-known and influential Indian thinkers of the 20th century, alongside Rabindranath Tagore and Mahatma Gandhi. Krishnamurti's teachings primarily address the spiritual and philosophical aspects of understanding existence. The great Indian thinker reflects on the nature of consciousness and meditation, on relationships between people, and on positive changes in society. He repeatedly emphasized the need for a revolution in the consciousness of each individual and particularly stressed that such changes cannot be achieved through external forces - be it religion, politics, or society.
