Before you is the continuation of the series "The Complete Course of the Golden Dawn". In this book, the lessons from 92 to 134 have been translated for you. Here is the third degree of initiation; the basics and fundamental...
knowledge are already behind, and the majority of the book is devoted to a detailed study of Tarot, which began in the second volume.
The series "The Complete Course of the Order of the Golden Dawn" is a tetralogy based on the manuscript of a guide for neophytes and adepts of the most famous hermetic order of the late 19th - early 20th century. Due to its popularity, the order was found not only within Britain but also far beyond its borders. Moreover, the "Golden Dawn" could rather be called a collection of orders, conveniently named after one of them, the so-called "outer".
The manuscript we present to your attention was disseminated in one of the mysterious and hidden corners of the world - the enigmatic New Zealand. The "Fare Ra" temple, belonging to the "Morning Star" order, was its place of storage, and by the way, it turned out to be the last surviving temple - it remained active until 1978 when the other temples, including the largest ones, had long since closed.
So, what is in the third volume of "The Complete Course of the Golden Dawn"?
— The book opens with an introductory article to the court or "Royal" Arcana. In it, the authors provide a general introduction to the focused and attentive study of the Tarot Court. As in the second volume, the foundation is based on the Tarot of the Golden Dawn. Its images will be seen by the reader later - in the lessons dedicated to each of the Arcana. All cards are analyzed with maximum immersion in symbolism, and a meditation on each Arcana is provided.
— Starting from lesson 109, the discussion finally turns to the Major Arcana. Each of them also has a separate chapter dedicated to it. And for our readers, we will publish images of some Major Arcana!
— Lessons 131 to 134 are more like appendices: they demonstrate ways to work with the Tarot of the Golden Dawn, how to correlate Tarot and Alchemy, and also touch on the Tree of Life. This volume has many more intersections with "The Complete System of Magic of the Golden Dawn" than the previous ones. It touches on themes amusingly related to "The Complete System...", and the author makes some references to the work of I. Regardie.
