Astrology. How to compile and interpret your own horoscope

A textbook on the fundamentals of astrology as presented by the most famous astrologer of the 20th century - Sepharial ("in the world" Walter Gornold), offered for the attention of readers, is devoid of some of the shortcomings that often... afflict new guides. For example, most authors adhere to a purely descriptive manner of presentation: planets in signs, planets in houses, aspects - and almost nothing about how to work with the chart. If we sum up these descriptions, which are fair in themselves, then in the absence of the necessary hierarchy and structure of examination, a beginner studying astrology gets confused and lost in a large amount of contradictory information, hindering their ability to form a clear judgment about the horoscope - a real person or some event.

Sepharial adheres to a different style. Separate aspects of human life are considered: health, character, financial matters, marriage, etc. When analyzing each of these topics, their specific factors and two general ones are taken into account: the Sun and the Moon. Thus, a rather rational algorithm for work is provided. The text is free of vague phrases that claim to have mystical depth. The "arsenal" of means used is minimized: the Sun, the Moon, and the planets. The set of aspects is characteristic of the English school: five main and half-aspects. On the other hand, an important source of information here is the position of celestial bodies relative to the horizon and the meridian.
 
The author does not shy away from classical forecasting methods. Not all of them receive enough attention in contemporary literature. It is clear why - primary directions, for example, require quite meticulous calculations. Sepharial offers a simple and clever method for calculating them using house tables, which every astrologer always has at hand.
