Rider-Waite Tarot (78 cards + booklet)

The Rider-Waite Tarot system was developed in the early 20th century and marked one of the most influential and popular Tarot systems in the world. The cards were created by artist Pamela Colman Smith under the direction of anthropologist and occultist Arthur Edward Waite. Their first publication took place in 1910.

Since Waite was a member of the mysterious society "Golden Dawn", his influence inevitably reflected on the Tarot. Members of the society studied occult knowledge, magic, personal growth, and various mystical traditions, including Kabbalah and alchemy, and used Tarot cards as a tool for meditation and learning. Therefore, many texts about Tarot of that time were written based on the teachings of

"Golden Dawn". In this context, Waite developed the symbolism and meanings that formed the basis of this deck.
