Dino Friends. Winter Fishing

Each book in the series «Dino Friends» tells about one day in the life of the Tyrannosaurus Rex Rasmus and his best friend Trim the Troodon. On that Saturday, Trim woke Rasmus unusually early and dragged him outside. And there,... for the first time in a thousand years, snow had fallen! The dinosaurs had never seen anything like it. Dad Rex proposed to hold a winter fishing competition. The winner would get a prize — a whole barrel of mackerel in tomato sauce! The cheerful company set off to the Big Lake. But it turned out that fishing under the ice was not easy at all, and something inappropriate kept getting caught on the hook. And then, they even caught a cronosaurus — the most bloodthirsty underwater monster in the world! And it is unknown how it all would have ended if not for Grandma Rex, who rushed to protect her beloved grandson and drove away the fearsome cronosaurus.

The series of books about the adventures of the dino friends was created and illustrated by writer Lars Mæhle and artist Lars Rudebier. They created an entire land of Dinoland, where something funny and unexpected awaits children on every page. The book has many dialogues, making it excellent for reading aloud and acting out with children aged 4 and older.

In addition to the exciting plot and lovable characters, the book has a small educational section that explains who dinosaurs are, when they lived on Earth, and why they became extinct. It also includes interesting facts about real dinosaurs — the prototypes of the heroes of this book.
