Dino Friends: Winter Fishing

Each book in the «Dino Friends» series tells about one day in the life of the tyrannosaurus Rasmus Rex and his best friend Trim Troodon. On that Saturday, Trim woke Rasmus up unusually early and dragged him outside. And there, for the first time in a thousand years, it had snowed! The dinosaurs had never seen such a thing before. Dad Rex suggested holding a winter fishing competition. The winner would receive a prize — a whole barrel of mackerel in tomato sauce! The cheerful company headed to the Big Lake. But it turned out that fishing under the ice was not easy at all, and the hook kept catching something unexpected. And then they even caught a kronosaurus — the most bloodthirsty underwater monster in the world! It is unknown how all this would have ended if not for Grandma Rex, who rushed to defend her beloved grandson and drove the fearsome kronosaurus away.

The series of books about the adventures of dino friends was created and illustrated by writer Lars Mele and artist Lars Rudebier. They created an entire country called Dino-land, where something funny and unexpected awaits the child on every page. The book contains many dialogues, making it perfect for reading aloud and role-playing with children from 4 years old.

In addition to the captivating plot and likable characters, the book includes a small educational section that explains who dinosaurs are, when they lived on Earth, and why they disappeared. It also features interesting facts about real dinosaurs — the prototypes of the heroes in this book.
