Dino Friends. The Giant Octopus

Each book in the series «Dino Friends» depicts a day in the life of Tyrannosaurus Rasmus Rex and his best friend Trim Troodon. One day, Dad Rex told Rasmus and Trim about a ship that sank in Black Cove. There... is treasure hidden on that ship, but they must not go there, because the treasure is guarded by a giant octopus. Despite the warning, Trim took Dad Rex's old raft and set it down on the water — just to test it near the shore. Of course, this was only the beginning. Rasmus and Trim swam all the way to Black Cove, where the old raft immediately fell apart. Fortunately, they had brought diving suits from the boat shed. Diving to the bottom, they discovered an ancient ship, and on it was an underwater playground set up by the octopus Big Otto and... Dad Rex. It turned out that they were friends. And what about the treasure? It was there too. As Dad Rex told Rasmus: a good friend is the most valuable treasure!

The series of books about the adventures of dino friends was created and illustrated by writer Lars Mele and artist Lars Rudebjerg. They created an entire land of Dino-land, where something funny and unexpected awaits children on every page. The book has many dialogues, making it perfect for reading aloud and role-playing with children aged 4 and up.

In addition to the exciting plot and charming characters, the book contains a small educational section that tells about what dinosaurs are, when they lived on Earth, and why they became extinct. It also includes interesting facts about real dinosaurs — the prototypes of the characters in this book.
