1248. Adventure on the Silk Road

A trip to the excavations turns into a journey into the past for twelve-year-old Seva — right into the 13th century, onto the noisy and colorful Silk Road. Here, caravans stretch across the steppes and mountains, the cities of the East shine with the lights of bazaars, and the nights are filled with the long songs of ashugs.

Seva will sleep under the stars in caravanserais, draw portraits of strangers, meet the great sage Rumi, and also find a true friend and discover the strength within himself to become a hero so that one day he can return home.
