Chase doesn't remember why he climbed onto the roof or how he fell off it. One fine day, he woke up in a hospital room surrounded by completely unfamiliar people: his mom, brother, doctor – and learned from them that... his name is Chase Ambrose. Everything that happened to him in his thirteen years of life seemed to have been erased.
Now he has to find out what kind of person he is.
What he loves, who his friends are, how people around him treat him…
 
And here he is faced with an unpleasant revelation: for some students, he is a hero, captain of a super-successful football team, while for others – a spawn of hell, a hated tormentor, shameless and cruel.
 
But is it really important who Chase Ambrose was? Far more important is to understand who he is now and who he will become in the future.
