Two months have passed since Tessa and Jin saved Tokyo and the last city of magic and wonder from the evil spirit of a samurai.

The friends are having a great time. They go to summer festivals and treat themselves to... ice cream. And then, on the Day of the Dead, magical origami creatures deliver invitations to Tessa and Jin to the Academy of the Gods. After a four-hundred-year break, competitions have been announced again, in which the clans of the seven gods of happiness will compete against each other.
