The ginger cat Fantik is a sleepyhead and a homebody, but one day he decides to find out where the swallows go every year. Fantik rushes to meet adventure!
In Antarctica, he meets penguins and makes friends with an old pilot. In North America, Fantik sneaks into an Indian reservation and observes a ritual where a secret name is given to a baby, protecting them from evil spirits. And in Australia, the cat unwittingly becomes a participant in the kangaroo races! But all the time, Fantik feels a longing for his homeland, so he happily returns to Kislovodsk with his owner.
