The Voice of God. The Wisdom of Adi Shankara Through the Ages

This book is excerpts from conversations, quotes, and comments of the 68th abbot of Sri Kanchi Math (a Hindu monastic spiritual order founded by Adi Shankara), the revered Mahaperiyava (Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Mahaswamigal), compiled in a monumental work by his disciple Sri Ra Ganapati and published in Tamil in seven volumes under the name "Deivatin Kural" ("The Voice of God").

Mahaperiyava was revered as one who realized the True Self by many great teachers, including Sri Ramana Maharshi. Becoming the abbot of Kanchi Math at the age of thirteen, he dedicated his entire life (until the age of one hundred) to following Advaita Vedanta, the teaching of Sri Adi Shankara, and its dissemination.
