Shri Anandamayi Ma (1896-1982) - "The Mother, Filled with Bliss" - is one of the most beloved great Indian saints of all time. She was a Teacher whose guidance was sought by scholars and ordinary people, the elderly and children,... people of different cultures and representatives of tradition. Swami Sivananda called her "the purest flower that ever appeared on the soil of India." Among her admirers were Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Indira Gandhi.
This edition includes two books by Bhaidji, the closest disciple of Anandamayi Ma. The first, "The Mother as She Opened Up to Me" (Maatri Darshan) - is a vivid and poignant description of Ma's life, extending infinitely beyond the ordinary, and the second - "The Voice of Truth" (Sadvani) - contains her utterances.
