Bongo's Dreams

The elephant Bongo heard from migratory birds that there is snow in the world. Now he dreams of it, longing to see and understand why it falls from the sky. Rain – to nourish the earth. And snow? To make it white? Or perhaps to make the world magical? These thoughts lingered with Bongo during his journey across the savanna.
The elephant looked at the blooming baobab and decided that his dream had finally come true. That snow is like these white flowers – equally beautiful and defenseless. Bongo took a deep breath, and along with the air came an inexplicable joy of the baobab, which should not bloom in winter but suddenly did.
