Red Hand. Black Sheet. Green Fingers

The story by E. Uspensky "Red Hand. Black Sheet. Green Fingers" is based on children's creepy tales and is united into a single plot line of the detective genre. It first appeared in the pages of the magazine "Pioneer" with... the subtitle "A scary tale for fearless schoolchildren." The militia intern Viktor Rakhmanin was assigned to investigate a series of mysterious murders. The list of suspects is quite dubious and unknown to science: Red Hand, Wheelbarrow Coffin, Black Sheet, Green Eyes, — in general, everything that Rakhmanin himself doesn't believe in much, but is obliged to investigate as part of his duty. He travels to different cities, interviews witnesses, visits mansions, cemeteries, and crime scenes. And it seems that clarity finally emerges in these cases... The book is published for the first time with illustrations by Ekaterina Vashchinskaya. For middle school age.
