Yakob Perelman – Russian and Soviet mathematician, physicist, journalist, and educator. Founder of the House of Entertaining Science in Leningrad (1934), which acquainted schoolchildren with the achievements of science and technology in a visual and educational form. The purpose of this book is to stimulate the reader's interest in mathematical and algebraic problems and puzzles, to fill gaps in knowledge, and to awaken memories of the school curriculum.
