Having entered the Kingdom of Three-Nines, second-grader Lisa uncovers a mysterious thief who has stolen the magical properties from the enchanted inhabitants. The Cat Bayun names the girl Lisa the Brave and sends her home with honors. But the kingdom is once again in turmoil: either Vasilisa is crying for no reason, or King Berendey has disappeared somewhere, and people in the forest go missing if they walk towards a certain stone.
