The first book in the "Wasabi - Dragon Detective" series combines two detective stories: "Case No. 1. The Mystery of the Origami Birds" and "Case No. 2. The Secret of the Plush Unicorn".
"Case No. 1. The Mystery of the Origami Birds". When the Leprechaun disappeared on the eve of his own birthday celebration, some were only pleased because he was not much of a character. However, his baker friends, dragon Wasabi and unicorn Lancelot, are sure that the Leprechaun hasn’t vanished, but is just hiding while plotting another unpleasant prank, which means he needs to be found and neutralized before anyone gets hurt. And, of course, they must hurry before the celebration begins, as the townsfolk will not forgive them if the coolest party of the year does not take place.
"Case No. 2. The Secret of the Plush Unicorn". Unicorn Lancelot stepped on the foot of a genuine fortune teller and now believes that he is cursed. To lift the curse, he and his friend dragon Wasabi must find the stolen magical sphere. The task is complicated by the fact that they need to hurry before the Psychic Convention starts, otherwise they won't be able to lift the curse. And the investigation is not easy, as a sinister golem is roaming nearby, and Lancelot attracts trouble like a vacuum cleaner attracts construction set pieces.
