Petya, the new kid in the fifth grade, immediately finds himself in the spotlight. An encounter with the main troublemaker of the class, Mark Bulizhnikov, leads to a reprimand from the principal. They even have the same jackets! Who would have thought that it would be these jackets that would spark a friendship between him and Mark. In the process of searching for the creator of the game popular among the boys, the heroes discover that they have much in common.
