The Adventures of Captain Vrungel

The famous story "The Adventures of Captain Vrungel" by Andrei Nekrasov about the unprecedented adventures of the old sea wolf Captain Vrungel and his two assistant friends Loma and Fuks was first published in 1937. Andrei Nekrasov himself was a sailor in his youth, traveled to the Far North and the Far East, and whatever he did, he always read a lot and recorded sea tales and tall tales. 

The writer Boris Zhitkov suggested that he write a book.
The story "The Adventures of Captain Vrungel" is being published for the first time with new illustrations by artists S. Bordyuga and N. Trepenok.
