Ancient Symbolism of Zodiac Degrees

Translation from Latin and comments by Sofia Bartenieva, Vlady Bernar, Denis Kutalev. Compiled, edited, and with an introductory article by Denis Kutalev. This collection presents for the first time to the Russian-speaking reader the oldest interpretations of individual Zodiac degrees... that have survived to our days (from the treatise of the Roman astrologer of the 4th century, Julius Firmicus Maternus), as well as the earliest known version of the "Sabian symbols" - 360 engravings symbolically depicting each degree of the Zodiac and accompanied by interpretations (from the treatise of the German astrologer of the 15th century, Johann Angelus). Information from these ancient sources is accompanied by examples of famous individuals whose horoscopes reflect various zodiac degrees.
