Nine and a Half Weeks

Many have watched the cult film featuring the seductive Kim Basinger and charismatic Mickey Rourke. However, few know that the film is based on a true story that happened to magazine editor Ingeborg Day, a 35-year-old single mother from New York. A chance meeting grew into a wild romance that lasted nine and a half weeks. Their love is a tragic impossibility to be together, because instead of asking the question, «What can I do for you?», both wonder, «What will you do for me?». The edition includes an afterword by the author's daughter, who shared details known to her and specifics of her mother's romance.
