Jack - the Giant Slayer

This book includes three fairy tales by the classic of Russian children's literature Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky. «King Puzan» was written, according to the author, «at the request of his own children» in the summer of 1917. In the same year, Chukovsky created his version of the Welsh folk tale «Jack - the Giant Slayer», which is also included in this collection. These were Chukovsky's first fairy tales, and «The Adventures of Bibigon» is the author's last appeal to children's literature.
