The Life of Remarkable Children

Valery Voskoboynikov created a unique series of stories about the childhood of outstanding individuals – "The Life of Remarkable Children". The sixth book in the series tells about the childhoods of Confucius, Yaroslav the Wise, Ivan Aivazovsky, Vladimir Shukhov, Jack London, Korney Chukovsky, Konstantin Rokossovsky, and Valery Gavrilin. Confucius faced hardships from a young age. Little Aivazovsky had no paper or paints, so he painted on fences. Jack London worked from an early age to help feed his family. And Shukhov, as a child, built a small mill and fountain in his grandmother's garden. The book contains a large number of vivid illustrations by the famous graphic artist Alexandra Merezhnikova. The books in this series have been awarded the honorary international diploma named after H. C. Andersen, the S. Ya. Marshak Prize, the A. S. Green Prize, and the "Scarlet Sails" Prize. The author has been honored with the title of laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation Prize in the field of culture. The stories from the series "The Life of Remarkable Children" are included in the extracurricular reading program. K
