Twelve-year-old Losso Reman is the only one in his family of travelers who has never been anywhere. The adults think he is still too young, and there are so many dangers in the world! From the books and maps that... the Remans provide for their city, Losso knows that the world is vast and interesting, and he just wants to catch a glimpse of it as soon as possible… Moreover, Losso adores stories about his famous uncle, also Losso Reman – a desperate traveler who disappeared the year the boy was born. A chance discovery by a family guest revives hope that the uncle is alive and, of course, needs his nephew's help! Thus begins the journey of young Losso to the edge of the world…
