Zhena is a big little girl. On one hand, she is younger than everyone, even her favorite dachshund Vetka, but on the other hand, to braid her hair, her mom has to stand on a stool every morning. Maria Bershadska's books tell the story of Zhena, who has grown taller than the tallest basketball player in the world, and how wonderful and challenging it is to be different from others. Throughout twelve books, Zhena continues to grow - she changes and matures. Her dad tells her that every person, even if they have already grown up, has some kind of INNER GROWTH. Zhena doesn't quite understand what needs to be done for this growth within. Walking in the rain? Singing songs?
