The Three Little Pigs
“The Three Little Pigs” is one of the most popular works in the world. The folk tale about the pigs originated in England, and literary versions have been known since the 19th century. In the 1930s, the tale “The Three... Little Pigs” was published in Russian with accompanying text by Sergei Mikhalkov and illustrations from the famous Disney cartoon. In the 1950s, Sergei Mikhalkov published his own Russian version of this tale, for which the outstanding artist Konstantin Rotov created the illustrations. These illustrations have a connection to the Disney pigs, but they are so unique that they have become a classic of our children's literature.
