William Lilly (1602-1681) is a famous English astrologer who published many books and almanacs with astrological predictions. He advised Charles I (who did not heed his advice) and in 1651 predicted the Great Fire of London in 1666. In his... famous "Christian Astrology," William Lilly, a magnificent master of horary art, sets forth rules for judging "to resolve questions of any kind." The book was published in 1647 and was first republished in 1852 by the English astrologer Zadkiel, who translated it from Old English and provided his own comments. Since then, Lilly's "Christian Astrology" has become a staple for any horary practitioner. The translation is made from the 1852 reprint edition without any abbreviations.
