This book is a compilation of 40 astrological texts from different eras, starting from the 1st century AD and ending with modernity. These texts provide a concise overview of the two-thousand-year history of the concept of the "house circle," from... ancient authors to 20th-century astropsychologists, from Indian and Persian-Arab astrologers of the early Middle Ages to the Hamburg school.The book demonstrates the nuances of using and interpreting houses when solving various tasks: natal, mundane, horary, elective; during relocation and in medical questions; in forecasting through transits, directions, and charts of solar and lunar returns. Technical issues related to the differences between dozens of existing house systems are also considered, including formulas for calculating different systems and a discussion on the problem of calculating houses in the Arctic.This collection will be useful not only for those interested in the history of astrological concepts but also for practicing astrologers from various schools and directions.
