About the author: 
Julia Ivanova. As a child, I loved reading books and drawing pictures for them the most. And I had two dreams: to become either a writer or an illustrator.
How people become writers was completely unclear to me, so I went to study at an art school to become an artist. I also attended a wood painting club, where I learned to paint matryoshkas.
I still sometimes do this for my soul, and I wrote a book about matryoshkas because I love them very much.
I am a psychologist by education, living in St. Petersburg, and raising two boys. A few years ago, I traveled with friends in Australia and realized that dreams, even the most incredible ones, come true if you really want them.
That’s why it was in Australia that I started writing my first fairy tale, and I finished it at home in Russia. Thus, the fairy tale "Magical Colors" and its heroine - the puppy Butyavka - came to life.
And I also believe in miracles. And I wish the same for everyone, because when you believe, they happen to us more often
