The notebook with flaps is designed for recording foreign words and practicing the learned vocabulary. Each page is divided into two columns: for writing the word and the translation. The original self-checking system will allow for more effective vocabulary retention.... To test yourself, close one of the columns with the flap and try to translate the words into Russian. Then close the other column and translate the words from Russian into the language you are studying.
