Aghora 2. Kundalini

The second book in the "Aghora" trilogy is dedicated to Kundalini. Kundalini creates the fabric of our lives, and we either remain in its chains or become free. It, the Eternal, is the Supreme Knowledge, the root cause of freedom from delusions and the root cause of attachment to the manifested.

In ancient times, when esoteric knowledge was zealously guarded, those seeking spirituality had to patiently wait many years before gaining access to this knowledge. Today, when information has become a commercial product, it seems that all conceivable mysteries are accessible to anyone with the means to purchase a book or a tape. However, just because secret teachings can be easily bought today does not mean they can be so easily comprehended.

Although words can be bought and sold, the living wisdom that resides in the realm of experience, rather than words, still has to be earned through hard work.

Among those ancient mysteries that are now offered for sale is the teaching of Kundalini - the root from which all spiritual practices grow. However, most authors who have attempted to introduce the world to this living teaching, the source of all knowledge, merely generate dead words.

As Heinrich Zimmer noted: "The best things cannot be told; the second-best are misunderstood."
