Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky (1823 — 1870) was a Russian writer and educator. He worked with children and specifically wrote textbooks for them, "Native Word" and "Children's World." Through his stories, K. D. Ushinsky showcased the beauty of our native nature:... animals and birds, the change of seasons. He also unobtrusively explained how important it is to protect nature and treat it wisely. This collection includes some of K. D. Ushinsky's stories and tales from his textbooks for primary school. Illustrations by I. Tsygankov. For younger school age.
