Housing of the Peoples of the World

Humans have adapted to almost any climate. They live in waterless deserts, amid continuous tropical rains, in the endless snows of the North, and in the impenetrable jungles of the Amazon.
Each people has long established the most convenient type of... dwelling for them. It doesn’t matter what it is built from — wood or snow, animal skins or grass — what matters is that it is the coziest, most native home in the world.
What kind of home do the inhabitants of different continents consider to be their own? Ethnographers, scientific staff of the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (Kunstkamera), Margarita Albedil and Yuri Berezkin, will tell us about this. The artist Nikita Andreev made detailed drawings, showing not only the exterior of various dwellings but also their internal structure.
