"This deck is an experiment (the second in line) to reflect the Tarot system of Waite through the illustrations of manuscripts of the XIV–XV centuries. 

I really wanted to combine the modern perception of Tarot from the XIX-XX centuries and the creative worldview of a person living in the mid XIV-XV centuries, the era of the Italian and Western European Renaissance. The idea of drawing modern Tarot based on the Waite deck, using the artistic stamps of illustrators of that time, seemed to me not only reasonable, historically accurate, but also creatively interesting. The main feature of this deck is that collages used less known miniatures from manuscript books, called manuscripts of the Renaissance era, rather than monumental canvases by famous artists" — the author of the deck, Vladimir Strannikov. 

What are the features of this deck? The deck is filled with symbols that will be interesting to ponder. They give the cards new meanings that differ from the classic Rider-Waite deck. Despite this, the meanings do not go into excessive originality and can be intuitively recognized even by a novice in the world of Tarot. The guidebook is written by Sergey Savchenko — the founder of the "Russian School of Tarot", a practicing tarologist with 30 years of experience, author of "Tarot of the Dark Path", "Evening Tea with Candles and Tarot Cards.
