The 52 cards contain images characteristic of a popular fortune-telling system in Austro-Hungary that used 32 or 36 cards. 

However, the deck has 20 original images that do not overlap with other traditions of Gypsy oracles, but reference French oracular systems such as Petit oracle des Dames, Livre du Destin, and to some extent the cards resemble the decks of Petit Lenorman.

The instructions for this deck were written by Evgenia Ustinova — a researcher, expert on the history of pre-revolutionary Russian fortune-telling and playing cards, and creator of playing cards and oracles.
