The book "The Alchemy of the Magical Word" is dedicated precisely to this. The author's word: Although the book is devoted to a rather narrow issue of world culture - alchemy, it is intended for a wide audience, and primarily addressed to those who are interested in the problem of spiritual growth, self-improvement, and evolution to higher levels of reality. Alchemy has always been viewed as the process of transforming base metals into gold. However, the author proves that such an approach is fundamentally incorrect. In reality, both the theory and practice of alchemy are aimed at the spiritual transformation of a person. The outer sign of such transformation is the changes in one's lifestyle. The practice of alchemy aims at the formation of a luminous "body of salvation," at the liberation of the astral body and the relocation of the center of consciousness to the astral plane. It is this "body of salvation" that turns out to be that "drinking gold," or "our gold," which was the goal of the alchemical Opus [Opus Magnum]. It is precisely these processes that are described in this book. This book is written by Sergey Telegin based on personal experience.
