The personal fortune teller of Napoleon himself, she created a unique system of prediction, incorporating echoes of mythology, astrology, the mysteries of alchemy, and other divination systems, the mixture of which allowed Maria Lenormand to provide the most accurate and detailed picture of the future. Each card of the large Lenormand deck is divided into seven parts. In the upper left corner is a playing card from a regular deck. In the right corner is a symbolic letter of the Latin alphabet. In the middle is a constellation corresponding to its meaning. The largest image on the Lenormand large deck card, located in the center, serves as the semantic basis of the card. There may be a mythological, alchemical, zodiacal, or allegorical plot. In the lower part of the card are two additional plots for interpreting the main one. In the lower part is an image of a flower or plant, which in the large Lenormand deck has its symbolic meaning. Today, as interest in card divination is quite high, the large Lenormand deck is quite popular among practitioners. The figure of Maria-Anna herself also sparks considerable interest.
