Advanced Course of Yogic Philosophy

"The Advanced Course of Yogic Philosophy" is the promised continuation of the "Basic Course," published slightly earlier. Both books serve as an introduction to a whole series of works written by Yogi Ramacharaka in the early last century. These books can be quite useful for contemporary Russian readers. In his writings, the author, recognized as a propagandist of Eastern and occult philosophy, guides readers from the profane to a completely different understanding of the world and themselves.
True occultism, as will become clear to the reader, does not teach that a person should engage in contemplation in inactivity, fixing their gaze on their navel, like some ignorant Indian fakirs who merely imitate the language of Yogic teachers while actually profaning their teachings. On the contrary, occultism teaches that participating in world affairs is a duty and an honorable privilege of humanity. And those who can do something better than it was done before deserve the blessings of being benefactors of humanity.
The author explains that Man is not a mass of cells and nerves, i.e., a body, but a soul, consciousness - a spark of the immortal and eternal spirit, surrounded by illusions created by its own lower shells and the shells of other people. Thus, the author points to the beginning of a path, upon entering which Man will gradually be able to free himself from these illusions and know himself, and therefore, BECOME HIMSELF.
