At the Feet of the Teacher

The widely known brochure by the Indian occultist, writer, and lecturer Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895–1986) was recorded by him at the age of fifteen during astral travels under the guidance of the renowned theosophist Charles Leadbeater (1854–1934). The material of the... brochure consists of the dictations of the World Teacher of the Upper World, which address fundamental questions of spiritual development such as the ability to discern, non-attachment, righteous behavior, and the outpouring of love in specific actions aimed at the creative transformation of the world.
The edition includes an editorial article "About the Author," which provides a brief biography of J. Krishnamurti, as well as an appendix that presents the main theses of his Teaching and a small collection of his selected aphorisms, as well as a catechism of self-knowledge. The Russian text of the brochure "At the Feet of the Teacher" corresponds to the translated edition of 1916.
