Sleeping Beauty

In this children's book, you will find a magical fairy tale that originated from the pen of French writer Charles Perrault in 1697. Russian children became acquainted with it thanks to the careful and high-artistic retelling by Tamara Gabbe.

The wicked witch, in retaliation for not being invited to the christening, cast a dreadful curse on the little princess. And so, when the princess turned 16, she pricked her finger on a spindle and fell into a deep sleep. Only a brave prince has the power to break the spell. But will he be able to find the sleeping beauty? The unique illustrations by Elena Teplova wonderfully complement the extraordinary story and help both adults and children believe in miracles.
