Things are not going well in Upper Duyberg. The snow has disappeared, and with it all the tourist skiers. It's pointless for meteorologists to sniff the air and take soil samples: not a single snowflake has fallen here all winter...
and none will fall - innkeeper Harchmann, owner of the Lismann hotel, and merchant Tülmann will soon go bankrupt.
Who will save the town? Of course, the children! They are not bored without snow: they play duybol - pushing cotton balls across the table, blowing on them with all their strength. "Wow!" exclaims the mayor, turning duybol into a new sport. Tiny cotton balls grow and become big, light as a feather balls. The table has been replaced by a spacious meadow between the hotel and the inn, and four puffing boys have become trainers for winter tourists with super hairdryers. Grab the hairdryer tightly, aim it at the large foam ball, and roll it to the finish line first! This simple amusement turns everyday life upside down: competitions roar throughout the district and far beyond its borders. Now there is no shortage of tourists in Duyberg, and among them are reporters, photographers, and even a millionaire! But how this will affect the once peaceful village is still unclear…
