Forming Reading Skills. Demonstration Tables for Teaching Literacy and Developing Reading Techniques in Older Preschoolers

The tables for forming reading skills in older preschoolers are included in the set of aids "Teaching the Child to Speak and Read". They will help children with phonetic-phonematic speech underdevelopment and mildly expressed general speech underdevelopment to practice the... skill of blended reading, syllables, words, and sentences of various structures. As they learn letters, children read reversed, direct syllables, and syllables with consonant clusters, and they learn to analyze and synthesize words and sentences. The proposed reading material is selected according to the principles of accessibility and gradual complexity.
